RB Smith, a metal artist in his late 60’s, has spent a lifetime perfecting the techniques he utilizes in his one of a kind copper and bronze sculptures. His freeform trees grace the walls of private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Described as “controlled drip,” Smith’s technique for creating his trees involves dripping molten bronze onto the floor of his studio, ensuring that every piece is part chance and totally unique.
