Bridgette Meinhold
Bridgette Meinhold is an encaustic painter and freelance writer based in Park City, Utah, where she lives in a small A-frame cabin in an aspen grove with her husband and dog. When she is not creating art or dreaming about it, she writes about green design, architecture and sustainability for Inhabitat. She is fascinated by how to make wax act the part of the atmosphere in order to create ethereal and dreamy landscapes. She works from her own photographs and memory and uses encaustic as a way to capture and preserve those moments.
