“My artistic inspiration stems from my love for iconic, classic, American ‘characters’ both human and animal. I design my paintings to be noticeable from a distance, like silhouettes of something you clearly recognize from afar but become more enchanted by, as you are drawn in closer to see the details. My philosophy is to make enlivening paintings that excite me and my senses. So my work is just that, combining my love for figurative painting, American history, realism, pop-culture, and poetry.”
