Jenny Gummersall
Jenny studied art and photography at the University of New Mexico. Her “Painted Animal” series was born out of a love for painting and photography. Each painting begins with one of her black and white photographs that is transferred onto canvas and then painted over using a mix of inks and oils. The result is a one of a kind playful painting with real aesthetic appeal. Her work has been published in Southwest Art and Aspen Magazine. Gummersall has been collected by corporations, museums, and private collections. She makes her home in rural Colorado.
